Waterloo is a city in the Regional Municipality of Waterloo in Southwestern Ontario, Canada. One of three cities in the Region, Waterloo is about 94 km west-southwest of Toronto. Due to the close proximity of the city of Kitchener, the two together are often referred to as “Kitchener–Waterloo”, “K-W” or “The Twin Cities”. As of the 2016 census, Waterloo had a total population of 104,986 people. Because this community is safe, affordable, full of wonderful events, and packs a strong innovative spirit its recent popularity has risen with the house hunters in southern Ontario.
